Ghanaian-born artist based in the United Kingdom, Claudia George, popularly known in the art world as Zinski, is set to hold a five-day exhibition in Accra titled “The Meridian Love Affair.”
The exhibition will take place at the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board from Thursday, 13th to Tuesday, 18th November 2025, open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Speaking ahead of the exhibition at the Ama Ata Aidoo Centre for Creative Writing on Monday, November 10, Zinski described The Meridian Love Affair as an expression of gratitude for her artistic journey.
“For me personally, the event is a thanksgiving event. I want to give thanks to God for what He’s done for me,” she said.
She said the exhibition will serve as a homecoming to give her friends and family a chance to view her work.
“I brought the event home so that I can share my creativity with my families and my friends. Some hear I am an artist, but they’ve never seen my work.”

Known for her exciting mix of batik and abstract art, Zinski’s works merge Anglo-African influences with aspects of abstract expressionism, revealing her strong attachment to African and Caribbean cultural heritage.
Her creative journey has taken her across the world, featuring in major cultural events such as the London Notting Hill Carnival, the Port of Spain Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago, the 2006 World Cup in Germany, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in New York.
Art lovers, students, and the general public are invited to attend and experience these thought-provoking works by Zinski.
